despite the title this is serious haha. So I just got home from a job interview and realised I had no food. So I went for a walk to the shops and got food and everything and as I turned down a side street on my way home I saw an old man laying on his back in the middle of the road. He looked like he needed help so I ran over and helped him stand up and tried to walk him over to the side walk, but after a couple of baby steps he’d start to fall again. So I spend a good five or ten minutes holding him up and trying to help him get off the road. During this time three cars drive past, no one stops to help. Then finally a priest drives past and gets out to help. Even with two of us we still can’t get him off the road. After another five minutes or so a lady across the road comes out to help us, we tell her what’s happening and luckily she has a wheelchair in her garage. So she grabs it and we put him in the chair. 
 
Now we have to try and get him home, I’d been trying to talk to him the whole time but he’d either not answer me or give me confusing one worded answers. According to another lady who pulled over while we where putting him in the chair recognises him from around the neighbourhood and says he is Greek. A lady another street down happens to speak Greek so I run down and knock on the door, but no one answers. I run back and there’s a lady already translating for us, the lady across the road from where the man feel also speaks Greek. She translates for us and we find out that he lives down the street before mine (only about a two minute walk away). So the priest, being a priest and all offers to walk the man home and since I’m going that way I go along with him, along with the old lady who’s translating. 
 
Anyways we get to his house and it turns out he lives with some of his daughters or aunties or some sort of relatives. They’re just finishing lunch and offer us some sort of lamb or beef stew and these crazy big rolls. And since I’ve been up since a ridiculous hour and haven’t eaten yet I have some. So I wind up sitting in a random Greek families house, eating stew with a priest and an old lady. So yeah interesting day haha :D
